The Holy Responsibility of the Christian Family

Calling all families... If you desire to invest time in study to learn what God's design for the family unit is, I recommend you listen to this sermon series titled, "The Holy Responsibility of the Christian Family" preached by Arturo Azurdia. It has been very helpful to my wife and I as we are a young family. Here is a quote from one of the sermons titled "The Chief End of the Christian Family" that blessed me...
"If you would allow me to say this reverently, beloved, God didn't wake up one morning and say, 'Now, Let's see... how can I illustrate the wonderful relationship that exists between a man and a woman in marriage? Oh there's a good idea: Jesus and the church!' No. God intentionally created marriage to foreshadow and illustrate the far more glorious and eternal relationship that exists between Jesus Christ and His bride.
By design the former serves to glorify the latter. And this, you see beloved, is what elevates the dignity of the family to it's most lofty position. It has been designed to exist for a goal outside of itself. A goal that in its ulitmate sense is not sociological, it is doxological. It exists ultimately for Him, not for us."
