Matthew Henry Commentary on the Song of Solomon

I recently was talking with my dear brother Abraham and he was sharing with me that Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Song of Solomon was a very edifying read. My wife and I began reading it as well. We fully agree. It is a crucial thing to understand in scripture the special love that God has for His bride. This commentary is stirring and evokes praise. It can be found many places online for free. Here is one place.

My pastor has loaned me a book recently and it has been a great help to me in understanding the role of the ten commandments in the life of a New Covenant Christian.
"Tablets of Stone and the History of Redemption is a study of the part the Ten Commandments play in God’s plan of salvation by grace through faith as that plan unfolds in the Old Testament Scriptures, moves into the New Testament Scriptures, and finally reaches into the life of the church today. I would highly recommend it to anyone wondering about this issue of the relationahip between law and grace. You could purchase a copy here or you could read this short article by the author to get and overview of his perspective.
